How to Remove the ParentSEE Safari Extension
How to Remove the ParentSEE Safari Extension
To stop ParentSEE monitoring Safari on an iPhone or iPad, you can turn the extension off, or remove the app entirely. Either one stops new activity from being collected.
Turn the extension off (quickest)
Safari stops sending activity to ParentSEE right away.
Remove it completely
With the app removed, the extension is gone and no further activity is collected.
Remove the device from your dashboard
In the ParentSEE app, open Settings → Devices and remove this device by tapping the trash icon. This revokes the device on ParentSEE's side, so it stops reporting even if the extension is turned back on later.
What happens to activity already collected
Removing the extension stops new activity from being collected. Activity already recorded stays in your ParentSEE dashboard until you choose to remove it. To delete that data (or your whole account), see How to Delete Your Account and Data, or delete a child's data from Settings → Data & Privacy.
Monitoring stops as soon as the extension is turned off or the app is removed. ParentSEE never prevents removal, and it doesn't hide it either.
