Choosing What You're Alerted About
ParentSEE checks the websites your child's devices reach for signs of a safety concern, and tells you. This guide explains what you can choose and where.
Always in your dashboard: every alert ParentSEE creates appears on your Alerts page, however you choose to be told about it.Self-harm and suicide alerts are never switched off: they reach you straight away, even at night, as a push to the ParentSEE app on your phone and, unless you turn critical safety emails off, an email. If a crisis push can't be delivered, we'll email it instead.Where the settings are
On the website: Settings → Alerts & Notifications. Every change saves as you make it, and shows Saved next to it.
In the app: Settings, then under Configuration tap Alerts, Notifications & Family. You can also tap the ⚙ button on the Alerts tab. Tap Save Configuration when you are done.
The app and the website change the same alert settings.
